Work
I have worked across diverse domains, including furniture, medical devices, consumer goods, automotive design etc. While much of my experience falls under strict confidentiality agreements and cannot be publicly shared, I have presented a few detailed case studies to illustrate my design approach and ability to manage various aspects of a project.
3 Detailed Case studies below:

Medical design (Social innovation)
Fecal Management System (FMS)
Geriatric patients need an easy, hygienic and most importantly, a dignified way of managing their waste while in the ICU. In a massive country like India both financial and manpower resources are scarce. Therefore, the solution had to be viable at the system level for the patient and the medical staff alike. What works in India can easily work at scale globally.

Own product 'Smthn'...it's something
Self initiated product journey to go from concept to customer within a year. Key strategy was Crowdfunding. Raised about $30000 in just 40 days and delivered about 1000+ bags across India with just 2 guys. A fast paced experiment to learn what goes behind building a brand and a product. Learnt manufacturing, distribution challenges, customer relationships, managing huge problems via product real and redesigning in days to fix the issue, directing and shooting product brand videos, web design, e-commerce store design etc. What a roller coaster!
Some of my other work

Machine vision for the visually impaired
Developed a low-cost, robust add-on device that mounts onto a spectacle frame. Using machine vision, it detects obstacles and risks in the path of the user, providing real-time audio guidance to navigate safely. The device also includes a programmable mapping feature for familiar environments.

Mobile keypad for the visually impaired
Designed a low-cost, universal add-on keypad to improve mobile phone accessibility for visually impaired users. Unlike standard audio-based tools, this device allows faster, more intuitive navigation and text input. The keypad features tactile and haptic elements to help users easily orient themselves and interact with on-screen content.

EV Charger pod
Designed a public and private EV charging pod featuring a coil-shaped cable and a magnetic snap-on/snap-off plug handle. The pod balanced elegant design with ease of manufacturing and was designed for durability against vandalism and environmental wear while ensuring intuitive use for a wide range of users.

Modular bus seating
Designed a modular seating system for passenger buses, allowing interchangeable components such as handles, headrests, and armrests to suit varying needs. Developed as part of a project based in Germany, the design introduced an innovative back-support loop, visible through the rear panel in orange, designed to support the passenger’s body during dynamic motion. This unique feature was later patented by the client.
